IMPORTANT Changes from September 2019

School Day :

The school day will start at 8.40am for the whole school from September with the school open from 8.30am for children to have a 'soft start'. Registration for all Year groups will be at 8.45am. The end of day will remain the same at 3.00pm for infants and 3.10pm for juniors.

Uniform:

We are altering the uniform from Year 1 to Year 6 to be a white collared shirt and tie with a V-neck Stanwell Fields sweatshirt for all children. The only exception to this will be our present Year 5 pupils as it will be their last year in the school and we do not wish to place an unnecessary new to purchase new style shirts and sweatshirts, although children will be welcome to. Nursery and Year 1 will continue to wear white polo shirts to help them become more independent. The rationale is to smarten our children up, make uniform more accessible as shirts do not need a Stanwell Fields logo and can be bought across many shops. It prepares children for secondary school and as proven in my last two schools, to have a positive impact on behaviour and the pride children take in themselves. We are going to look into new suppliers such as Tesco to provide our school uniform because of convenience to our parents in this area and for cost. If you know of any other good suppliers please do not hesitate to put them forward.
